"This is a unique property spread over several acres of vineyards. There are multiple units to choose from & we stayed in the cottage. This was a lovely independent stone cottage overlooking the sea with a loft bedroom, kitchen and living room. It was a very special stay during our time on Madeira & we can’t recommend it enough. "great hotel and all the staff were amazing Bit hilly but buggies very useful room and swim up pool lovely preference club lounge great and lots of choices of drinks and snacks tried to majority of specialist restaurants and enjoyed them all main bar a problem with long wait times to get served but enjoyed trying all the options which were well made by experienced staff on checkout appears someone used the shuttle bus into capital and charged to our room, were not forced to pay but a not a nice experience to prove we never used the bus as we had a car"

"The hotel was nice, I wish the showers had doors because I accidentally stepped on the wet floor and I fell. The hotel is clean and well kept but when you walk outside smells like a septic tank. I think is the street sewer nothing to do with the hotel but around noon the smell is pretty strong. I think the pool downstairs could be a bit better it looked green not blue the water was probably clean but it made it look dirty from the top balconies down in comparison to the hotels next door. The breakfast was very good, lots of options and changed very day, it was clean and organized . The room was done every day sometimes they would forget the towels but they would replace them right away. I had a two bed room and the beds were a bit small for a large or tall person . The bar drinks were great they had everything."

"Would absolutely stay here again. The staff took extra care with keeping the property clean, literally nothing was dirty. The staff were Ann very polite and super attentive. They all spoke a level of English (which was good for us seeing as we don’t speak Portuguese). The room was incredible, we splashed out a bit and got a junior suite with an ocean view and it was INCREDIBLE. The amenities were great - we tried to make use of all that we could considering our short stay. Definitely book again."
