Panoramic view of Culloden Viaduct (also known as Nairn viaduct) with a Scotrail train on the Highland Line on it. This double-track viaduct is the longest (1800ft (549m)) masonry railway viaduct in Scotland. It was opened in 1898. Panoramic image created with programs hugin and enblend.

Cumberland's Stone. Near to the field of the Battle of Culloden (1746) lies this five foot high conglomerate glacial erratic boulder from which the Duke of Cumberland is said, probably wrongly, to have watched the fight. The stone had its wording carved into it by a local man in 1881.

Lovely warm clean room and bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Very central. Breakfast good £10 if booked night b4 cheaper than on booking site. No parking but carpark across the street. Definitely stay again. Bus station and train station very close.

L’appartement est très spacieux et le mobilier est de bon goût. Le parking est très pratique. L’hôtel est bien situé. Il n’y a aucune réception physique, tout se fait par un code. Le ménage est ok. On avait des travaux juste en face dans le bâtiment côté cathédrale. Quelques nuisances !
