"I booked a room for my mom at the Bacolet Beach resort as an early Christmas gift. From the moment I saw the pictures of the room she was assigned I was terribly disappointed almost to the point of writing the hotel to assign her a different room. It looked like none of the Bay Room pictures on the expedia site in terms of decor. The rest of the facilities I was told matched previous reviews which I unfortunately read too late. "My husband and I had a great stay at Victory Villa. The room as recently renovated, comfortable, and very clean. The host who met us was very friend and informative. He communicated directly and what to expect when driving to Victory Villa. The road getting up there isn't great, but totally doable in a car whether day or night. For someone with major passenger anxiety, I didn't particularly enjoy the drive. However, it was well worth it once we reached."
