"This was my second time at Gilbert’s but my first time staying there, I have no other word to use besides AMAZING! Genuinely loved the resort & staff so much. Rooms were exactly what they portray online, beautiful and clean. They have a company by the beach where you can rent kayaks and jet skis which was convenient. I will be coming back without a doubt. "

"Absolutely love this place. I would live there if i could. Miquel, and the Staff are friendly, courteous, and just Awesome. If you are in Key Largo, this is the place to stay. There are two restaurants, each on either side of the hotel. We like Skippers, good drinks, and everything on the menu is good. Thank you Miquel, for an awesome birthday stay. We will see you soon.

"Staff and cleanliness were great. Rooms updated. The loungers by the water were very uncomfortable. Had to sit by the pool. Those loungers were much more comfortable. Several people smoking cigars which was unpleasant. The location was not what I expected. Not a lot of tourist things to do. Overall the hotel was very nice and comfortable"

"Owner was pleasant and the room was clean. Its an old hotel, but was sufficient for my husband and I as a stop over to our next destination. Easy access to places to eat. Online it states Breakfast included, but it should say “grab n’ go” breakfast. The choices weren’t bad, but most places who list “breakfast included” usually means Breakfast, not grab and go."

"We had a large suite with a large amount of living space. While everything appeared to be very clean both in the room and on the property, the floor had not been been washed in quite some time. My husband's feet would be black on the bottom after just a short time walking around barefoot. Scrubbing the feet became a regular ritual. Other than that, the place was comfortable even though the bathroom was quite small and no second sink by the coffeemaker, mini refrigerator area. The pool area...
