"I never had of Newcastle West before, but if you are ever in this town, this is the place to be. My wife considered the breakfast "the best Irish breakfast in Ireland," and who am I to disagree? We truly enjoyed our stay (and the breakfast) as well the friendly staff including (especially Derek the manager). We need disability-friendly accommodations, and this hotel, in this regard, was a great place to stay. The true test of any hotel, is "Would you go back?," and we would gladly come back...

"The hotel is situated on extensive grounds with a walk down to the Shannon river. Great pool - longer than most hotel pools. The interior of the hotel is rather old fashioned and could do with some refurbishment. My room was large and comfortable. It is about a fifteen minute drive to Limerick city centre although there is a train station nearby."

"Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Everything worked smoothly, the room was comfortable, and the overall experience was very positive. The only small point to mention is that the rooms can be quite a long walk from the reception and breakfast area. We happened to have one of the furthest rooms, which was a little inconvenient at times, especially with family/luggage. Other than that, everything met our expectations, and we had an enjoyable stay. We would happily stay here again."

"We left for the airport before the 6:30 am breakfast so they made us a breakfast bag to go. Much appreciated. At 9 pm we discovered the hot water in our shower didn’t work and they moved us to a new room. Excellent service. The hotel is undergoing renovation so the restaurant is in temporary quarters but serviceable."

"The hotel was lovely. Very clean and comfortable room. The staff was wonderful; they were so friendly and accommodating. It was an excellent experience. We ate dinner in the GastroPub next door, and the food was very good. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Nice rooms. Food in bar was far better than I expected. We really enjoyed it. There isn’t a lot of parking, but that is typical in Ireland. I’d definitely stay here again."
