"Cheap and cheerful, no amenities in the room, including no fridge, which was disappointing but there was air con, so that's a plus point. The cleaning staff were great and the rooms were adequate and kept fresh on a daily basis. The food was OK and as we only went B&B it didn't impact us too much. The hotel location was great and it did the job we needed."

"Clean, well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Nice restaurant on site with good food. Helpful, friendly staff. 5 minute walk to the beach, 20-25 minute walk to the old town."

"Beautiful view from the balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The beach was nearby. Do be aware that the beach directly next to the hotel is a “naturist” beach, which means some people will choose to be unclothed. I enjoyed the sound of the train, but if you don’t, keeping the balcony door closed more than suffices for noise elimination."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Pigal in central Tarragona, Spain. The location is excellent—within a reasonable walking distance of the Roman amphitheater, the port, the old town, the central market, and plenty of restaurants. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality from Charlie, the hotel owner/manager. He was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English. When we arrived, he immediately took the time to personally show us where to park, which was especially...
