This is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Amazing breakfast and dinner were included with our stay. Convenient to main shopping and dining street and bus station. Only issue was lack of AC or even ceiling fans (they did provide a Dyson airblade which sort of helped) for climate control. The balcony slider provided some relief from the heat, but not enough for anyone sleeping in interior room of family suite.

Fabulous Hotel and Wonderful Staff

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and always helpful. It is in an excellent location with amazing facilities. The room we had was so wonderful we didn't want to leave. The spa is very relaxing and a treat. We loved this hotel

Fabio the GM and the entire staff were fantastic. The food in the two hotel restaurants were excellenr. Breakfast is also something to write home about. Best of all is the very short walk to the gondola to the Courmayeur ski resort. The skiing was amazing and I planning returning! Thank you Massif!

Beautifully designed hotel, very attractive. Located just a few blocks from the downtown pedestrian area so there is easy access to restaurants. Front desk staff were very helpful. Wi-Fi is strong in the lobby but was very poor in the rooms, at least in 412 - we were there four nights and it was common to have to re-signin repeatedly, as often as three times during an hour.

Great stay @ Courmayeur

Great stay, upgraded from classic to luxury room. Very nice & welcoming personell. Great facilities and outstanding food at the Chatif Restaurant. The only minus was the loud music at breakfast which apparently was a due to a problem with the equipment.

World class hotel

Amazing trip, so convenient to get to for the gondola and can keep the skis in the chalet at the top of the mountain so very little walking around carrying skis and walking in ski boots. Service excellent, cleanliness top notch, breakfast and the fish restaurants were superb. Can't fault the hotel. Concierge so polite, front desk lovely, lady who does the turn down service great too. Would love to come again for sure annually!

Great position, spa needs attention

Great hotel in a perfect spot for skiing. Friendly efficient staff and comfortable rooms. Only downside is having to book an hour slot for the spa as it only has beds for 8 people. The sauna doesn’t work as gaps in the doors. Also I’ve never stayed in a 5* where you pay extra (we were HB) at breakfast for fresh orange and hot choc. Also no draft beer on a night and 50€ cheapest wine (was nice though).

Disappointing

Tiny Rooms, no service and an overly pretentious restaurant menu. Great location and nice looking hotel but that’s where it stops. There is nothing 5 star about this hotel.

Generally the hotel is fine. The service is superb. The rooms are very small. Even with an upgrade to a DeLuca room there was not much space at all, è speciale for a mountain resort. The Soa also need a upgrading and better management. But the service is so amazing, it compensate a for it all

Lovely hotel with great staff. It’s conveniently located for the main lift. The bar is lovely and the breakfast is good but no one should have to pay extra for orange juice or even avocado on toast at a 5 star hotel. The spa is tiny with very little room in the changing room. If there is more than one person it is tight. It is nice though.

one Safe didn't work, curtains broken, no waste bin, very noisy above a bin alley with glass being emptied at night, and near to staff smoking area, broken cupboard handles, faulty phone that kept waking us up at night buzzing and lighting up. Issues reported each day and some never fixed, some only after 3 nights stay. don't accept rooms 201 or 202. half board food ok but service hit and miss with some of a group of 4 eating dessert whilst others being served a side dish at the end of the meal. location is good and still had a pleasant stay but overpriced for our experience.

We chose Le Massif because of its beautiful pool/spa. We were duped! You cannot go to spa/pool without a reservation! We asked to make one between 4 and 7 pm the next day and were told no times were available. We asked for next day, “no.” And next, “no”. Friday? “No.” I perceived the front desk host as rude for not offering options or explanation. The restaurant and bar staff were delightful and friendly. As for the rooms, they are very small, but the bed was very comfortable. The hotel and service do not match the price.

This a disgrace for a Leading Hotels of the World. The rooms are very small, the bathrooms so small that you can’t turn on the shower without getting frozen by the cold water before the warm comes. Nescafe instant coffee in the room instead of a Nespresso machine. At breakfast if you want fresh juice you need to pay extra. The half board dinner choices are a joke. The same menu with limited choices every day. The view from the room was of trash cans in an alley. Their ski lodge toilets were beyond disgusting without toilet paper. The spa needs a major upgrade. Slimy floors in the steam room. And on top if this the price they charge is totally ridiculous. This hotel should have only 3 stars max
