"Many reviews said the Almerante could be a 4 star and having now stayed there I agree. It is modern, well maintained and very clean. Staff were all polite and helpful. Breakfast items were all good quality though the choice is not as wide as I have experienced elsewhere. Still it was more than adequate. The pool was nice as well, no problem with sunbeds. It is a quiet hotel, which for us was fine. "

"We stayed at Hotel Galetemar. We didn’t realize when we booked it that they are all privately owned apartments. It was the usual basic Spanish Apts but perfect for us in terms of location n how peaceful it was. We were close to a very large supermarket, 5 mins to the tourist ‘Tren’, literally on the beach 🏝️ and 5 min walk to the start of the promenade. The old town was really lovely, would like to explore that more. We will definitely be going back. "

"Although the hotel is very dated and very basic, it was excellent value for money. Expect what you pay for. Rooms are clean. Pool is very small and limited space to sunbathe but ok for a cool down. Breakfast is basic - croissants, few meats, yogurts, fruit bottled water & orange, coffee - not bad at all. Staff are friendly and helpful and the bar is cheap.
