What this motor inn has going for it, is location. You can walk to the harbor across the street or over to the arts district 2 streets down, also they are dog friendly. The bed wasn't comfortable, the AC didn't work very well and there was a very large bug I was told is not a cockroach on the bed.

The motel served it's purpose. All appliances worked fine. The structure needs some care, however the management and longer residents were trustworthy and friendly. All in all, it was in a very convenient location on a very busy holiday weekend.

The room was ideal for a solo traveler like myself. It had all that I needed from hot water to WIFI. I was not expecting a working mini fridge that I ended up using more than I expected. This is a great stop for a single person or a couple that are spending one or two nights in Rockport. The parking lot doesn't allow for a lot of cars, so be prepared for that. But the hotel is positioned close to the waterfront, and is in walking distance from small boutiques, restaurants, and the local community theater. This location is ideal for a minimum number of travelers on a budget.

Check in process was nice. Room was clean, as well as could be expected, just don't walk around barefoot. Was a little noisy but we were relaxed. It was comfy, but was a little hard to find, no sign, so make sure you look at the address. Location was great, nice walk to shops and close to the beach. Even though it's an old place, it was pretty clean. The tile in the bathroom shower was caved in and was scared to lean on it. But it was cheap, so not much to complain about. Staff was nice and the room didn't stink, so it was a relaxing trip.

Good price. Centrally located. If you are wanting to use the kitchen, be sure to bring all cookware, utensils, plates, cups etc. And pick up a bag of ice. No working ice machine.
