"I was very disappointed with my experiences staying at Holiday Inn, especially considering my last two stays have both been extremely poor. During my first stay, I had to wait several hours because the staff informed me the power would be restored shortly. Unfortunately, the power never came back on, and I ultimately had to leave and book another hotel.
My most recent stay was just as frustrating. The elevator stopped working, forcing me to walk up and down 14 flights of stairs multiple times just to access my room. What made the situation even more concerning was that staff had to unlock multiple doors just for guests to access the emergency stairwell, which I consider to be a serious safety hazard in the event of a real emergency.
Once inside the room, I found mold around the sink, enhancement lubricant behind the trash can, visible cracks in the ceiling, and a leaking roof. In addition, the balcony was completely closed off, making it inaccessible.
Before booking, I specifically called to confirm whether the hotel had a hot tub and was told that it did. However, upon arrival, I discovered there was no hot tub at all. To make matters worse, the staff was rude and dismissive when I expressed my concerns. I was essentially told that if I wanted to check out, there was nothing they could do to improve the situation for me or my wife.
The level of customer service and overall condition of the property did not reflect the standards I would expect from the Holiday Inn brand."
