"EXCELLENT LOCATION!! This is such a beautiful and convenient location! It's close to everything Bayfield/Apostle Islands has to offer within a block or three. Tour boats, fishing at Pier/Marina, Bayfield Market grocery shop, shopping, restaurants, ice cream. beach. Memorial Park end of block. Madeline Island ferry is right across the street. If you forget something you can literally run back to the room and grab it in minutes. Which we did (our fishing license) for our fishing excursion on...

"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."

"Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!"

"The Walkout was perfect for myself, my daughter and two grand daughters. It was so nice to have a kitchen, supplied with coffee! And lots of room to lounge and relax after a long day. We loved being able to walk the path to town without having to walk on the highway. Thanks! We’ll be back!"

"The positives: the room was very clean and the A/C worked well. The challenges: the room is not set up with guest comfort in mind. The bathroom is an empty box with nowhere to set anything down. The sink is situated outside of the bathroom and across from the bed. Awkward setup that easily could have been remedied during updates. The bath towels were tiny and thin, as were the pillows. "I rented the room based on very nice pictures on the internet but the unit we received was a very small room in the basement with bugs, dingy stairwell, no kitchen, faulty TV remote, no hairdryer or Kleenex, no AC thermostate, no comfortable furniture or place to put luggage or clothes. Other units in the house were obviously bigger and consistent with website but not unit 5."
