"Wonderful staff of this river lodge bordering Kruger National Park. Large spacious room. Great sunrise and day safaris from their own staff. Sunset safari is run by the National Park so needs transport to Kruger Gate if you don’t have your own vehicle. Couple of things could be improved. Firstly, the wi-fi could be faster. "The place would have been wonderful. BUT THIS PLACE IS NOT TRANQUIL the noise of the trucks on the r40 24/7 roaring past. It sounded like the place was next to the runway at Heathrow. They offered a lesser accommodation away from the road a bit but wanted to charge lots more. I’m sorry but this was not helpful…. Beware if you don’t mind sleeping with ear plugs THIS IS FOR YOU. "Very nice and clean house in Kruger Parke Lodge with enough space for 5, even 6 persons. 3 bathrooms. Washing mashine and dryer worked well, at least during non-load-sheeding times.
