"When we arrived at The New World Inn the owner met us at our car and even carried our luggage since my husband is disabled. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was not fancy but had good choices. I love oatmeal. And you could make your own waffles. I canโt wait to go back to Barre and stay again. The Inn is being refurbished one room at a time so be patient and know you will get a nice room."

"The room was appointed/decorated just beautifully and looked towards the lake which was a short walk away. The air conditioner worked very well and there was a smart TV. The only thing missing for us was a mini fridge, just bc we had purchased food earlier. But everything else was just perfect. The inn is just lovely and in superb condition. There is also a charming bar and restaurant. We had both dinner, and breakfast which was lovely and included with our stay. I had fresh blueberry pancakes and made to order eggs with fresh fruit, juice and coffee, and my husband had yogurt with fresh fruit and granola with maple syrup drizzled on top and also made to order eggs. The owners are incredibly nice, truly, not a cliche. We talked about some wonderful history and connections we both had. The other guests staying also were treated so kindly. I would recommend Green Trails Inn to anyone traveling thru Vermont and wanting a New England Bed and Breakfast but in an updated and renovated charming inn."

"Stayed at the quaint Lyme Inn for a nearby concert. From the homemade chocolate chip cookies at check in to concierge finding us a ride to/fro the venue, this stay couldnโt have been better! Lovely Inn and gardens too. Lastly, breakfast is NOT to be missed. Great stay and weโll be back for sure!"

"The hotel surprised us by being very nice. It looks rather ho hum from the outside. The room was clean, comfortable and the beds were good. It was in a quiet location with woods out back. They served warm cookies in the afternoon."
