Our room the bed was comfortable. The security latch was broken off, food from previous guests was still in frig. Shower did not work at all. Tv signal was inconsistent all the time. Light bulb burnt out over vanity. Picture by bed was NOT clean. No reduced offered we won’t be back. People in town were wonderful! Food delicious!
This may have been the most run down hotel I have ever been to. There was a strong musty smell in the room and dead bugs in the sink and tub so I don’t think the room we were put in had seen people in a while. There was stains on the ceiling and walls and pink mold," it is actually a bacterial biofilm all over the bathroom ceiling. I felt the need to wipe down everything with disinfectant. The door would barely close and there was a small window that I could open to get fresh air but it had no screen. The ice machine didn’t work and I walked around only to find another broken one. I finally found one that would work in a room with 1 washer dryer combo that smelled like piss. It was a loud night and we could hear people yelling all night. Also I’m pretty sure it’s more of a motel cause I could see room with people having cats in the windows .
This hotel was not clean at all. When we arrived the front desk staff was not very welcoming either and then when we got to the room it was disgusting. Mold on the ceiling, underwear left in the closet, red splatters on the bathroom ceiling with missing light fixtures. Trash under the beds. The lights on the outside of the building were practically all out so coming back at night was a bit challenging to see where our room was. Breakfast was frozen burrito and Walmart yogurt. This hotel is not family friendly. Single, working person, sure. But I would not take my kids here ever again.

Room was spacious, bed very comfortable, amazing shower!
The property is well worn but nice folks and clean.
Our room had a bit of a musty smell but we just aired it out
actually very quiet location.
The room was very clean. The bed and chair were very comfortable. The staff were very courteous and helpful with our check in. There was plenty of room to put everything we needed up off the floor. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Nicer coffee maker than most places which made more coffee.

It was just okay. A tired old motel that hasn't been upgraded in many years.
There are no words for me to describe the shabby, run down condition of this place.
Filthy, peeling wall paper, disgusting curtains, loose handy cap rails in the tub/shower, Old everything,.......
No 6AM complimentary breakfast, faulty room keys etc, etc, etc.
Am I going back?
Ha, ha, ha !!!!!
Pool was closed, breakfast was 1/10. Grateful for the room but would not stay again

Check in was smooth process. The hotel looks old but they renovated the room a bit. It was loud but not bad as you are on the side of hwy 101. Overall not bad of an experience.

There was no place to hang your clothes, we had to use the shower rod. I've seen dumps that at least had a place to hang your clothes.
I was very disappointed with this hotel, especially considering the price. The room had a strong old cigarette smell that never went away, making it unpleasant to spend time in. Soundproofing was also very poor: we could clearly hear people in the room above us walking around and even using the bathroom, which made it difficult to relax or sleep.
The room itself appeared poorly maintained. One of the bedside lamps was missing a light bulb. The air conditioning unit was incredibly loud whenever it turned on, making it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably.
Overall, the hotel feels neglected and does not provide the level of comfort or quality you would expect for the amount it charges. There are much better options available at this price point. I would not stay here again.

Check in was at 4:00pm. Our room, along with others, was not ready. Got in around 5:00. Kids were all sandy so they went to shower. Water was cold. After hanging out for a couple hours, ants started crawling all over the counter. We left for the evening and when we came back around 12:30am, our room key wouldn’t work. Had to go to the front desk to get it fixed. Over half of the lights didn’t work in the room. The next morning, went to shower and once again the water was cold. So we left. It’s safe to say we will never come back to this hotel. The staff was friendly. But it’s not enough to convince us to stay again. 2/5 stars
In the morning when you went to go get breakfast, there was nobody around to help. The coffee was not hot. It was from the day before.
The heater did not work. The air conditioner did not work. The sink was flooding. Everywhere would not drain.
There is no fire alarms anywhere in the room
The staff was very nice and accommodating, the room was clean. I was not pleased with the breakfast choices, when I booked the room it stated breakfast included. Our choice was: hot chocolate-instant, coffee, oatmeal-instant, or granola bars.
The biggest issue is this property is that there is no room service - no real breakfast. Stayed there five nights with no room service - no ability to let staff know that they needed to address the lack of attention to update the towels, toilet paper, and Kleenex. Comes with only two days of coffee, and it's bad. They only offer grab-and-go breakfast-type items.
The room next to me: the guest checked out and left the door open - for two days - this remained open to anyone. It felt unsafe.
Well for starters employees at the front desk gave a couple the same room as I was in and before I knew it I had people trying to bust into my room.
So, the next morning I go to get breakfast that was supposed to be included. Yeah, no... it was literally coffee and cream, oatmeal packs, couple of apples and oranges. When ever I have stayed somewhere when it says breakfast is included, its breakfast. Not whatever they were offering.
Then when going to take a shower it was not working correctly 😒 😑, then when I finally got it to work I was standing in 12 in. of water due to it being such a slow drain.
Honestly I am pretty flexible and willing to work with most situations. But this place is a joke and has false advertising with the breakfast included. I should of just stayed at the freaking Motel 6 next door.
Property shouldn't be a red lion. Its not even good for a motel six. Peeling wallpaper, tattered sheets, next door to a sewage treatment facility.
Not gonna ask for a refund because I stayed the night but man, this has made me rethink redlion as a choice.
Pool unavailable (main reason we chose) staff not very friendly no internet, tv going in and out, no liner or lid for ice bucket. Bedskirt had hole in it. Bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water on the plus side. Will stay somewhere else next time in town
The restaurant is not open, I payed extra for that, the pool is closed, the ice machines are down one was on way up front. When they get the place running again it will be good it’s in a good location.
When I got there the check in was easy. I asked where my room was and they said “over in that area” (it in fact was not over there. Drove around in the dark making my 11yo hop out to check room numbers to find ours) we walked in the room and it gave “1980s horror film” vibes. Had my son go take a shower immediately to get to bed in a timely manner. The water is plumed backwards and the “hot” is like warm. Ac/heat didn’t work. Bed was clean, thank god. There was random trash under the bed. Floors were stained. Hair in the shower. A PAIR OF SOMEONE ELSES SOCKS BY THE DRESSER. The toilet randomly ran all night long. Bed was from 2012, hard, coils. Blanket was basically a sheet. Called the front desk with the issues, was told there was no other rooms available. (Other hotels were booked out for the busy week) overall, a terrible experience. Luckily it only costed me $60 and we survived. Paid for bfast, it was just cold food from a fridge you had to reheat in a microwave… Won’t be coming back.
