"Golden Gables is a great spot to stay in North Conway. It is close to everything - the rooms are sleek and modern, clean, and the beds are very comfy. Nice amenities including Keurig coffee maker, toiletries, and snacks in the lobby. There is a bit of road noise...but the location was what we cared about most - since we wanted to be close to the Conway Scenic Railroad station. AND, in my opinion, a REAL bargain, too! Yes, we recommend it for a nice getaway."

"The beds are terrible, the walls are paper thin. We were placed next to a family with small children that were allowed to run up and down the hallways. Spent 45 minutes in the room, went to dinner and We decided losing out on $300 and driving 2 hours home was a better option."

"★☆☆☆☆ — Terrible beds and an awful night’s sleep
I expected at least a comfortable bed. Instead, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, left me with back pain, and I couldn’t sleep all night.
My experience was painful, exhausting, and nowhere near worth the price. I would not stay here again."
