This is the first time this has ever happened checking in and being asked if I have the sheets and it will be 12 eruo for each bed and to top it off I had to clean it myself or pay them to clean my room. We have been on many vacations never have we been charged extra for them to clean the room. And fyi the room was not that clean when we got there with panties in the trash can. "Stayed with some family at the Chalet and it was a blast. The place was a little more narrow than I expected but do not mistake that for anything negative the area was beautiful and the Chalet was fantastic. Will definitely be back!"

10/10 Excellent

"This was a nice sized room with a comfy king sized bed. The building itself is historic, but the rooms are updated and modern with hard surface flooring. We were on the third floor and had a nice balcony that looked over the lake. Lots of shopping and dining options near the hotel. Easy to grab transit or Taxi/Uber as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Montreaux. "

10/10 Excellent

"Location was excellent! Room had a great lake view and was very comfortable. The only staff we encountered was at the front desk. She was great! We could walk to and from the train station, BUT on the route we took we had go DOWN towards the lake and encountered a LOT of stairs to go down, which leads towards the lake, turned left at the bottom of the stairs then a few blocks to the hotel. Escalator is available on the return to train station, in lieu of the LOTS of stairs BUT only an UP escalator. We had only carryon luggage, so it was okay on the down part, but if we’d had larger luggage we would’ve gotten a taxi or ride share. Overall it was a great location. The promenade along the lake is spectacular! Would definitely book this hotel again!"
