"Can’t say enough good things about this property! The location on the lake is fabulous and it is on the way to Connemara National Park and the coast. The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. "Stunning location. Was hoping to visit the gardens but there was a private function taking place, which was a shame. Felt well looked after with cases taken to the room and an offer of valet parking. Swimming pool complex with jacuzzi and sauna and gym was good. Breakfast excellent. A very pleasant stay."

The front desk staff was not particularly helpful with transportation issues. "A nice modern hotel on the outskirts of town. Huge room well equipped but let down by housekeeping who failed to clean a hair from the shower floor and wall before we arrived. I decided to have a bath instead but there was no plug! Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was good."
