"I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible stay at Don Alfonso 1890. We felt as though we were being welcomed home by family. The atmosphere is so tranquil and relaxing, everything embellished tastefully with soft pastels of flowers and lemons and local fauna. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with an in-room coffee maker and each day we would return to our room with a tiered platter of desserts and finger sandwiches - exactly what we needed to tide us over before dinner....

"Really loved this hotel, its a bit pricey but an amazing beautiful boutique hotel. Each room is designed differently and is modern. The service is second to none. I often do not find I get what I pay for in Italy, but in this case yes. "

"The property was absolutely wonderful and very clean. Great attendance at front desk but few people spoke English outside of the front desk staff. "

"If you want value for money with a fabulous breakfast and amazing views then this is the hotel for you. The positives far outweigh the fact that the pool is smallish and that it is a mile walk into the centre of Sorrento/the main port. We enjoyed the walk and getting away from the crowds.
