"Great breakfast - love the fried eggs and croissants, they are so fresh. Angela gave me lots of useful travel tips - on how to take buses and trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where to go for dinner and where the local market is. Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing."

"The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. There was unfortunately a plumbing issue in the bathroom and apparent mold buildup in the ceiling corner which was visually unattractive and came with a slight odor. "The owners were very sweet, my only issue was that the room was 6 or 7 floors up. I knew there was no elevator just wish I would have know that it was on the top floors due to the fact that I have major knee problems, & lugging suitcases up was not fun for my husband. However the location was great, just a walk away from the water."

At the entryway, there are a few tables, furniture, a small fridge with freezer, sink, microwave, toaster, etc. which was nice for me (everything clean and ok). "We had a very good stay at Hotel Plaza. The location was excellent — only steps from the train station, which made traveling with luggage extremely convenient. The room was comfortable and had plenty of space for two people, even with two large suitcases and carry-ons. What really stood out was the staff. "It’s a very cute place to stay and I would love to be back again. Host is kind and tell us where to get about. Little kitchen to use and got kettle, fridge and little bun for breakfast. Room is clean and the shower was great. But the only let down is the lift you need to insert 20 cent coins but the machine have some faulty issue. Sometimes it works and sometimes does not. "Great location to see all the sites. Do NOT stay here unless you can bring your luggage up several stairs. Hard to locate, a local had to help us. Clean room, very simple room. It was fine for us, but I had to get the luggage up and down the stairs. Not fun."
