The newly appointed manager and a desk clerk got in a huge fight at the front desk while i was waiting for a ride. The clerk was "work checking" her manager and the argument got quite heated as she obviously would not accept criticism. He's frustration increased as they bickered back and forth about her attitude etc. She wasn't exactly welcoming when i arrived and failed to write down my room number so i had to go back to the desk and get it. The main issue is that they should have gone into the office area for their fight, and not continued for at least 10 minutes at the desk. It was embarrassing and highly unprofessional. However the clerk should have kept quiet and not talked back to her superior. She for sure is not suitable for the hospitality industry.
