Amazing breakfast with massive selection although dining room can be packed same for car park as very difficult to find parking later in the evening. Said that excellent breakfast comfortable and clean room (no room cleaning though stay). Slightly small Bathroom but hot and powerful shower.

Stayed here to visit Phantasialand. Uber is good price to and from park. Train station also not to far with Uber. Perfect location and a shop walking distance down the road. Breakfast was also decent.

This was a great place to stay and use as a base to travel around the area. The train is very convenient to the property and included parking was a treat. Breakfast was good and rooms were comfortable.

Great stay for families to visit Phantasialand. Very clean, great breakfast with healthy and options, friendly people. Easy access to public transportation. Stayed with kids for two nights to visit the park and couldn’t be more happier. Definitely recommend to book!

Great restaurant, we had an excellent evening meal. Breakfast was also good. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar - service was top notch. Some of the rooms need maintenance, there were some plumbing problems during our stay and our in room safe wasn’t working. Overall, good value for money. We would book again.

Location was great for Phantasialand, and had a supermarket right next door, which was super handy for taking snacks to the park with us! The breakfast selection was fantastic and the room size was great for us.

For the price we paid the hotel is excellent value, the staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms are basic bit more importantly clean and all you need for a long weekend stay. The breakfast buffet has a variety of options. We booked as its close to phantasialand, and would recommend it to anyone planning on a trip there.

We used this hotel for a trip to Phantasialand. There is a shuttle bus available at Brühl Mitte for £5 return per person in cash, and the stop is an 18 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is very comfortable, we used the restaurant two night. The only problem was the lack of a kettle and tea making facilities in the rooms. We ended up paying €7 for a pot of tea each to take upstairs on the second night.

Good stay

Overall, a good stay at H+ hotel. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. My only criticism was that there was not a reliable wifi signal in my hotel room, so I had to sit downstairs in the bar when I needed to do some work on my computer.

Phantasialand

We stayed here for Phantasialand, it's about a 20/30 minute walk from the hotel, or a 5 minute car ride. I would recommend hiring a car as there isn't much to do besides the themepark, cleanliness is very good. On the one day we wasn't at the park and therefore able to sleep in a little, staff were knocking on for cleaning at 9am. There was no sign to put on the door to say do not disturb

Ideally situated minutes away from the Cathedral. Early check-in given. The room was very nice. I accidentally left my passport in the safe and staff were helpful enough to find it and look after it till I returned to Cologne. Excellent service and would highly recommend

Good stay.

Overall the stay was great. However the pillows had no substance to them. You needed 3 or 4 to make a proper pillow. Also the AC wasn't working fully. I'm guessing the AC was stopped because it was still cold outside so had to sleep with the window open instead. Breakfast was good. Everything you could want.

This hotel suits its purpose of being close to phantasialand, the staff were helpful and friendly! The rooms are standard although our first room had no working air conditioning and a window that wouldn’t open/close easily. We were then moved to a different room, again the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast is okay, it has lots of options and even offered vegan/gluten free alternatives. The hotel overall does look and feel a bit rundown/neglected in some areas. If you need somewhere to stay and can’t afford phantasialands on site hotels this is a fine alternative.

The hotel was easy to get to with plenty of parking, just outside the city center in a quiet setting. It was mostly clean (we had a big stain on the carpet by the side-table in our room) The staff was mostly friendly & helpful. The room we stayed in was small for American standards. The hotel definitely wins the flattest pillow award! I didn't even notice I had two pillows until I tried rolling them up for more support. The hotel offered a great breakfast buffet, including a nice inside and outside seating area. Coffee was offered through 2 big automated coffee makers, with plenty of frothed options to choose from. A simple German cup of copy with a simple creamer would have sufficed for me though.
