"I was impressed that they served a mini omelette…never had that anywhere else. Also, there was a large variety of breakfast choices. The room was crisp and clean too!"

"There were two TV’s neither worked, power went out several times during my stay!! Arrived on Saturday evening wasn’t able to get into another room until late afternoon the next day Sunday. Excuse was no maintenance on sight!! Hotel was booked so I couldn’t be moved into a more suitable room until Sunday. checked out Monday morning. So not a good experience"

"This hotel is very clean, has a great breakfast and is ideally located right downtown within short walking distance of everything you'd want to do downtown (museums, restaurants, entertainment). It was our second time staying here, once as an adult couple and once with our child. The only negative things I have to say is that the pool area is not ideal. It is very small, the room and the actual swimming pool. The other negative is a smaller on. They will "offer" you parking, but it is charged...

"My husband and I decided to stay the night at the Grand Amway Hotel in Grand Rapids to celebrate his birthday. We selected a room on the 24th floor. The room itself was average with a typical TV, desk, chair, and king sized bed. The dimmer lights were a nice touch. Unfortunately the bathroom was a huge disappointment. The water pressure from the sink was low and it took so long for the water to heat up. The toilet required flushing three times when just flushing toilet paper because the paper...

"First off - all of the staff was amazing g - the front desk, the dining room, pool area, housekeepers -excellent!!!! The carpet in the room smells disgusting!!!!! Food in the dining room was really good - eaten by adults, a 3yo and a 6yo! That is doing something! Only complaint was the room smell. The hotel was really busy and the elevator was getting a workout!"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. While the hotel was generally clean, it needed some freshening up. With that being said, it was a perfect "close to the airport" and the city hotel. The free airport shuttle was so helpful! I had to leave for the airport at 4am and the driver was in the lobby waiting for me when I came down. I only stayed one night and left too early to get breakfast. However, the breakfast area looked wonderful. I would definitely stay here again."
