"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

"Very spacious and comfortable apartment in an amazing location just a few steps from the best viewpoint in town, and a few minutes down the hill into the centre. Great to have a private car park and the reception staff were super nice and helpful. We were a little sad to find out that the pool was only available for the penthouse, but very much enjoyed our stay."

"Great location near foot of Alhambra in a quiet side street. Beautiful old building, nicely restored. Charming room. Breakfast not included and from other reviews it didn’t sound worth paying €15 for so we went out. The only reason I marked it down was the sound of an upstairs room’s bathroom water loudly rushing down the pipes through our bathroom which woke me up a few times."

"This is a great hotel with really friendly staff, quality rooms and greater amenities. The rooftop bar has a great view of the Alhambra, and is a good place to watch the sunset. All in all I would definitely recommend the place, and would be pleased to stay there again."

"Perfect location for Granada! The room was VERY clean and decoration/amenities were perfect. Although we have lifetime friends in Granada, it was a bit off-putting that we could not invite them to our room and offer a wine while we changed or chilled."

"It was a bit challenging checking in because we arrived early. The office is several blocks away and doesn’t open until 10. We were able to drop our bags at the office and wonder the city until checking in. The room was awesome, very clean and modern, quiet and secure. The laundry on site was an added bonus. Great central location. Would definitely stay here again."

"This place is really about the view to the Alhambra which was superb! The room was big. The bed was “okay”, but the fitted sheet didn’t fit very well and in the middle of the night they kept coming off… we had to get up and try to put them back on. The proprietor gave us very good directions on where to be dropped off by the taxi. It is a walk down stairs so definitely be sure to bring luggage that can be rolled along a rocky/aggregate terrain. "The hotel is tucked away between a main street and a nice busy back street but it’s so quiet inside and lovely. The hotel and room are spotless and there are many shopping and food options in a short walking distance. We extended our stay due to an issue with transport and Narly was more than happy to help us out. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Granada."
