"Perfect place to stay. Lovely pub & gardens. Room was great plenty of room with the added luxury of a small balcony overlooking the pub garden. Breakfast was great and although not needed they had reserved a seat for an evening meal which I thought was great."

"Lovely B&B the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and free parking, wi-fi and 10 mins drive to Hereford. The host Lorraine was brilliant and allowed early check in too, as we arrived early. Overall a great experience. Thanks"

Forest of Dean is interesting area between Wye and Severn with a special history. Easy access to Monmouthshire. You may see harmless wild boar Can't miss the evidence of roadside grass verges dug up in their search for food."

"The location was perfect and our room was lovely and clean. Nice pubs and Londis within walking distance. Owners, Kel and Mel were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, giving directions to walks along the canal and the history of the local area. The cooked breakfast was outstanding!"

"This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....
