Great location for entering the Yellowstone East entrance. Directly on the river and access for fishing. Cool cabins - very unique & comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at the Trail Shop Inn.
The staff here were so sweet! The room had an amazing view of the mountains, and was super cozy and even had its own parking spot right in front.
It's very remote, so service is weak and their wifi doesn't reach all of the cabins, but it's absolutely worth it for the atmosphere!
A good location to stay before Yellowstone. Nothing too fancy. The place definitely shows its age. Definitely works fine for a place to stay to sleep. The most economical place we stayed on our trip.
The staff was super friendly and helpful upon check in. Quaint cabin in rural area was quiet and a great place to rest our heads. Only downside was no air conditioning in mid-July, but after opening the windows our room cooled off nicely at night.
Rooms are very cosy, but a bit outdated. Overall a nice stay with nice staff. Rooms have carpet but seemed quite clean. Plenty of space to park and a restaurant on site. Beautiful spot for stargazing and nature.
Hello,
This was a very hard place to stay and the website stated it was in Cody Wyoming. It turned out to not be in Cody. The property was not well maintained and it didn’t look like the pictures. The sheets needed to be changed and the room really needed to be updated. The grass needed to be cut and around the sidewalk, it needed to be weed whacked. I’m wouldn’t stay here again.
I will say, we arrived before 10pm. Alysa greeted us and made us a delicious burger. Meeting her was the best part about our stay. She was so friendly and helpful. I could see how much she loved the place and its history…
A dump, busted door, lopsided bed, a 2x2 shower no human can shower in EVER, windows leaked something terrible, and not enough curtains to cover the windows.
The staff was great, kitchen and dining pretty nice. Cabins? A dump. We stayed in #1, but it didn’t look any worse than the others.
I great location if you are heading into the national park. No cell phone service or wi-fi. Be prepared! Lovely little cabin rooms. Very clean. No AC, just one fan. We cracked a window but we're a little nervous to have it open too wide so it got warm with 6 people. Check in was very no fuss.
We arrived late… approx. 830pm. 2 young adults were waiting for us to check in. No formal check in which seemed odd. Just asked for payment.
Was given a key and just told to leave it in the room when we left…despite the informal check in process and lack of any information given the stay was ok. Be aware that there is limited service in the area. The rooms were cozy and had most amenities available. It’s a quiet location off of the main road.
The cabin was bigger than a hotel room with nice, comfortable beds for everyone in our family. The location was a wonderful get away set out side of town. The on site restaurant served very delicious food.
Check in was a breeze. Was greeted with a friendly, smiling face! Our cabin was perfect. Clean, spacious and cute! The stars from the front porch at night are breathtaking! Amazing river close by we took our 2 teenagers to check out and they loved. Beds and pillows were comfy. I will 100% recommend to everyone I know!

No outlets in bathroom. The restaurant was very good. Nice decor and variety of food.
The location is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was a great size for my family of 6. The bathroom fixtures were a little crowded but it didn’t bother us. The restaurant was closed when we were there which was a bummer but we would definitely go back!
parking was easy, private cabins, quiet, beautiful location. Disappointed that restaurant was closed and we were not notified until we arrived. We would have shopped more in Cody prior to arriving. Lovely place. Would return.
