I Felt the Romanian Embrace of a Helpful Staff

I was greeted with a warm and friendly front desk! They were accommodating, cordial, and kind. The room was quiet and comforting. I showed up during the rain and left with the sun shining brightly all over Cluj-Napoca!

Clean stay, friendly staff

Clean, pleasant staff greeting, howver, location was disappointing as view is all construction and tucked behind from the main city center. Walking distance though to shops and food. I was also disappointed I didn’t get offered a cookie upon check-in. They said I could purchase it. All in all, hotel is good.

I was looking forward to our stay at this hotel. However, the hotel seems tired and in dire need of a refresh. The bathroom in my room was not in good shape. While the shower was ok, the shower cabin had serious signs of wear and tear. And the sink pedestal was in very bad shape.. I would not recommend this hotel, especially at this price point.

I checked in on a Saturday afternoon. Both Saturday and Sunday the gotel hosted weddings. It was extremely loud until 11:00 pm. When asked hotel for refund they only gave me 25 percent discount. Pitiful.

Don’t let name fool you

Pillows like concrete sacks, breakfast was less than desirable, no coffee outside open hours of restaurant For the price, it was a let down, the manager must be on vacation, I had no blow dryer in room, I left a day early as I needed to find a place to sleep, was charged the last day as well, $172 per night in Romania is a lot, the Golden Rose was nicer @ 79$

Angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Mal in dem Hotel. Auch dieses Mal war alles wundebar. Wir haben an der Rezeption ein Zimmerupgrade erhalten. Wir konnten über unser Handy ein Fussballspiel auf dem grossen TV in der Bar anschauen und wurden in der Zeit freundlich mit Getränken und Essen versorgt. Bad war groß, mit separater Dusche und Badewanne. Frühstück war gut, optional mit nach Wunsch zubereitem Omelett. Die typischen, warmen Cookies bei Double Tree wurden beim Einchecken auch nicht vergessen. Denn Pool haben wir diese Mal aus Zeitgründen nicht genutzt, waren aber letztes Mal auch damit zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder.
