Hôtel Levesque

"The hotel was immaculate. Bed great. 5-star cleanliness. Good air-con. The only downsides, which for a hotel as nice as this were quite surprising; the TV package is non-existent, maybe 25 channels but 22 of them are French or sports (I was able to stream Youtube on my laptop using the wifi at least); and no microwave in the rooms. My first night I ate in the restaurant, had a steak, it was great, but $100 CDN with a drink and a $20 tip, so my second night a week later on my return trip I planned to eat in my room, bought a ready-made meal at the local grocery store, but no microwave to heat it up; very odd. I would still recommend the hotel, but I would not go back for the reasons I mentioned."

"The room was very clean, beautiful property which was very well landscaped. Friendly and professional staff. Great breakfast. The hotel and grounds had a resort feel... Made you feel like you were on vacation and taking it easy."

"Neat location right by the ferry and very close to town. Building is older and found it a bit loud with other guests above but served us well for the night."

"L’Anse a l’eau is somewhat dated but very well- maintained. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. It is located very close to where the ferry line-up is located. I suspect the upper rooms backing on the highway may be noisy, although, that said, Tadoussac Main Street is very noisy during the tourist season. No breakfast service so you must walk (15 mins) to a restaurant open for breakfast. There is a Take-out Boulangerie across from the motel which is usually open from 0700 to 1700, (closed Tuesdays) that offers a good selection including coffee, tea and other beverages. (Boulangerie a l’emportée coop)."
