"First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. "This was a quick overnight stay while we visited Westport. Hilary greeted us at check-in and was very nice. She was also very helpful with providing us with taxi information. The property is about a mile and a half from the shops and restaurants, so we walked into town, then took a cab back later after shopping, dinner, pints, and music.
