"The bathtubs need new grouting, minor mold fixes, and one tub had chipped paint/lining and should probably be fully replaced. Everything else was good. In the cafeteria, the fried eggs were not edible -rubbery and looked really weird, like they’d been microwaved? The pancake maker was broken and looked. Like it had never been used. Wish they had a waffle maker. All the other food was fine."

"The room was fine, although the a/c unit was a bit loud. I think it might be on its way out -- may need to be replaced. We stayed 2 nights. Our first night was a bit rough as other guests around us were a bit loud and there was a dog barking a lot. "Of all my research, this was the most affordable and cleanest lodging. I will stay here the next time I visit my sibling at Connecticut College too. I will say to bring your shower shoes and don't walk barefoot (just in general, the place was clean just old), and the room smelled heavily of perfume or strongly scented cleaning product. "Really nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice."

"This was a very nice mid priced property. There is a really good restaurant 3 minute walk away. The AC worked just right and wasn't too loud. I would stay here again. There is no protein in the breakfast, but there are breakfast restaurants all around."
