"The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis....

"When I was here (prior to 2019) our room had a small fridge. This time, not only no fridge, but no ice machine on the property. Even the worst Motel 6 has ice machines on property and there was no indication of that on your motel information page."

"This room was very disappointing. Immediately upon entering our room, the main overhead lights did not work along with the bedside lamps. Then, we noticed the deadbolt had by torn off from the outside and was missing. FYI, we are two people staying not the first floor. The toilet seat was also severely damaged along with the sink. Upon brining these issues to the attention of the from desk, they stated that there was nothing they could do as they were at full capacity. Also, they only now told...

"This is a budget hotel. The room was basic but clean. Nice shower. Great location. Very steep stairs. I would stay again if on a budget as good value for money."

"It's SF - if you've ever been and know downtown Tenderloin District - it's not the best location, BUT, having said that, this building is quite clean. Once you get in, it's quiet. The hallways are clean. The room was basic, what else do you need? Clean hardwood floors, bed and sink with TV. I was uneasy about the shared bathrooms, but there are two showers and two toilets on each floor - both well maintained and cleaned. I had no issues at all. "this is a shelter for the homeless, and not a good one, which is fine but its Expedia review is a fraud. I went in, which others with me would not, but this is not livable or safe even for one night"

"One step above a crack house. First room had dirty walls, dirty floors, cigarette burns on mattress and holes in blanket, so asked to switch rooms. Second room had more of the same(albeit 10% better), so decided to just ask for blankets and towels and brave it. Turns out, the extra blanket we got also had holes and cigareete burns AND they were only able to offer one towel. STAY AWAY!"

"The hotel is very simple but felt very clean. The beds were very comfortable. It is located in a great location with the zoo right across the street and many restaurants near by. While it does not serve breakfast there is George's zoo corner market and another cafe within walking distance with breakfast options and sandwiches. My only complaint is that we could have used a couple more pillows for the bed. When we asked the front desk for 2 more pillows we were told they only had one to spare....

"The absolute best bed & breakfast in San Francisco! Cleanest rooms, friendliest and most attentive staff, great location, most delicious breakfasts and snacks/baked goodies throughout the day. Our son graduated from USF this past Saturday and we’ve consistently stayed here. On our next trip to S.F., just to visit and explore more we’ll stay there again!"
