Great B & B in a quiet old village

The B & B is situated in a lovely, very quiet village, with many old buildings. Breakfast was good, and the proprietor made us coffee in the evening, and brought it to our room. Really enjoyed our very short stay.

Enjoyable stay and would have liked to spend longe

Host was welcoming. There was secure parking. We were a little disappointed that dinner was not available on the two nights we stayed but our host made a reservation at a good local restaurant. Weather was exceptionally hot and the room was very warm but we were provided with an electric fan that made it comfortable. Our host was very helpful and provided good guidance on places of interest and we enjoyed walking in the countryside and dining in a restaurant overlooking a lake as well as visiting a glass museum and cathedral in Trois where we enjoyed listening to a choir. Our host was helpful in providing breakfast when we had to leave early.

Gorgeous little stop over on way to Alpes, room was big and clean. Very modern inside. Breakfast was continental so cold foods only but still nice.

Here, again!

Again, an exceptional overnight stay (we have stayed here previously, en route back to England). Delightful room, lovely breakfast with a most charming host. Clerey is within easy reach of the motorway at Troyes and we would recommend La Cler'Hier without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. They greeted us at our car on arrival, which was a lovely thought. As they didn't offer an evening meal they recommended a lovely lake side restaurant and even phoned to reserve us a table. The room was very spacious for a family room, with an amazing shower! We loved the small touches, such as 4 different colour towels, so we knew which were our towels. Breakfast was fantastic, great coffee and pastries and our children loved the pain perdu. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you.

Arrived at 15.30 and rang bell/CCTV to ask if we could book in a bit earlier. Could see people moving in the house but they could not be bothered to even answer the intercom. As property is behind a locked gate we could not enter. We left and booked into a very nice hotel in Troye. We felt badly treated as if we are invading their personal space. What is the difference between 15.30 and 17.00 !!

Jammer dat er geen koffie/thee gemaakt kon worden op de kamer ! Er is verder niks te krijgen namelijk. Ontbijt is eenvoudig. Een hapje eten( Brasserie ‘L Horloge)is 5 kilometer rijden met de auto, erg lekker gegeten. Advies van de eigenaar.
