"Outside the room window was an air conditioning unit, or something similar, that made a 24/7 noise that would remind you of a tumble dryer constantly running. When reported to staff, they looked amazed that someone would have the audacity to complain about their hotel and nothing was done. "Had a 2 night stay at the Trim Castle Hotel. Wonderful hotel with fab views of the castle. Lovely food and generally a truly lovely stay. Just wish the rooftop thermal pools had been open but it’s not ready until June. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you"

"A nice hotel with clean rooms, easy check-in and check-out, with free parking for hotel guests in a car park connected to the hotel for easy access. The staff was friendly but did have a standoff-ish vibe that make it uncomfortable when I was asking for recommendations as they only seemed to have pushed their hotel's restaurant when asking for local pubs nearby. "We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful.
