"Our family vacation would have been great if the Wicker Guesthouse had kept there commitment and put our rooms near each other. We got one excellent room and one in a dark room with no windows. There were people outside the room smoking and the cigarette smoke would come in through the airconditioner. when I made the reservation I asked for our rooms to be near each other. Our family was recovering from a traumatic health crisis of one of my granddaughters. This was to be a beautiful blessing and became an ugly reminder that some businesses will manipulate your vacation to meet their needs. More influencial people were deserving of 2 nice rooms"

"We loved Pier House. We chose the Spa Junior Suite. It was a beautiful room and really spacious. Janine and Ollie/Olga were fabulous and so wonderful day and night at the outdoor bar, for drinks and food. Location, location, location Pier House is it. The beach is small, but in the Keys, its a miracle to find a hotel with its own private beach. We will come back and this is where we will stay."

"A little piece of paradise, steps away from bustling activities in Duval street. Rooms were spacious and clean. Continental breakfast served on outdoor deck amongst beautiful shrubbery. Checkin and out very easy process. I look forward to returning again. 💯 rating"

"I questioned this property when we booked but everything was a 5 star. The property was clean safe and it a great area. The beds were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The breakfast was good and the happy hour was very good with nice wines that wernt cheap. The staff was great and always willing to help. They had bikes and golf carts to rent. The Lfyt/Uber ride is only 10 minutes to and from the airport. A car is not necessary to rent. We will be staying there again next year. "

"Would stay here again without question. The property has a lot of character. It is a bit dated and in need of a little more cosmetic attention. Things like discolored/cracked caulk, paint gone, can see outside thru the AC unit, bathroom fixtures flow slow, etc. Having said all that, the place is clean, well kept and in a perfect location relative to beach access and Duval Street. It took a couple days to get used to the breakfast area. They basically put out the allotment for the day and when it’s gone, it’s gone vs a hotel chain that tells you breakfast from 7-10 and they continually restock throughout. Again, no big deal and it doesn’t impact my higher rating. The staff was helpful and polite and we enjoyed the nightly entertainment at the tiki bar. If you are like us and don’t spend a lot of time in your room other than sleeping and showering, this place should be on your list to consider. "

"Good location. Rooms are basic with small televisions. Breakfast and happy hour are bare minimum. Okay stay but don’t expect much. "
