Excellent stay. Dinner and breakfast exceptional and Jean-Francois is a very warm and friendly host. Highly recommend booking the Table d'Hote dinner during your stay - you won't be disappointed!

This absolute gem is the creation of the hospitable M Renoux who treats all his guests like personal friends. There is absolutely no possibility that you will not be delighted with staying here.

Everything was incredible, from the beginning you are welcomed warmly. The grounds are beautiful and the house is fantastic. Don’t mis a dinner there, the food was delicious and the courses kept coming. Great local dishes. Jean-François is the perfect host, making you feel welcome. I would stay here again and again!

Beautiful country guest house just a few minutes off the autoroute. Clean and comfortable rooms. Jean-Francois is the perfect host and wonderful chef. Dinner and breakfast are a unique Normandy experience and fantastic value for money. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here on our way down to the Dordogne. Jean-Francoise is the perfect and most charming host. The breakfast was amazing with a taste of homemade jams, fresh bread and poached apples. The history of the house adds to the joy of the stay. We will be back!

A gastronomic delight

Staying here was an amazing experience. We were greeted by the hosts on arrival and were treated to a fabulous meal with the other guests. Each course was described by our friendly host Jean-Francois and beautifully cooked by his wife Renee. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and was perfect for our overnight stay on our way further south. The breakfast was another stunning meal. I would fully recommend a stay here and we will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family.

Fantastic communication. Jean-François stayed in touch throughout our terrible 5hr delay from England and still managed to provide an excellent meal when we arrived at almost 10pm. The grounds are fabulous and the gates are locked in the evening. A small but delightful character hotel.

This is not just about staying in a beautiful chateau but more about a unique French experience. Jean Francoise is the perfect host who aims to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. He is a mine of information and is fluent in several languages. We chose to have an evening meal which was quite unique. Following aperitifs on the terrace we were invited into the dining room to enjoy an evening of culinary delight. Home cooked local produce intersperced with cider, wine and calvados made for an epic evening. Breakfast followed after a peaceful nights sleep providing a wide variety of choice. A Wonderful Place to Visit

The building (exterior and interior) and gardens are spectacular. We were met at the door by our host, Jean-Francois. He was extremely welcoming, carried our luggage from the car and provided coffee on the terrace. Our period room was spacious and comfortable with en suite facilities. We had ordered dinner which we ate with the 3 other guests. The dinner was a wonderful experience which started on the terrace and ended in the dining room.Jean-François cooked the multi course meal and served every course with a comedic flourish. Most of the food was sourced locally, and mostly local specialities, and all beautifully presented. Our bed was comfortable, the shower had loads of hot water! Breakfast the next morning followed a similar theme to dinner and involved several courses and local specialities. The hospitality of the host, the food and the very reasonable prices make this a stopover I would highly recommend in this area of France.
