Although a longtime Hilton Honors Member - I booked this stay via Expedia in an effort to save some money on the overall rate/stay. This was my first mistake, as I fully understand that properties have certain blocks of rooms that are used for Third Party Reservations such as Expedia...which are "typically" not the most update and maintained rooms within the property. This has only proven even more true on this stay.
Just to delineate a few of the concerns with room 320:
Large stains throughout living room carpet.
Many electric sockets in lamps are worn out and do not work.
Tracking for glass closet doors is so rusty that the doors do not open and close without coming off of the tracking.
Shower has moderate amount of mildewed caulking.
Various spots where wallpaper is peeled away due to drywall deteriorating behind it.
Balcony canopy has only metal framing with no canvas covering for shading/shielding from Sun or Rain.
Sleeper Sofa is worse than most/normal sofa beds are generally expected to be.
As a long-time Hilton Diamond Member - having stayed in hundreds of Hilton Properties, including many DoubleTree flagships...I am disappointed with our experience here in Blue Ash/Sharonville.
I responded to the property’s texts asking how my stay was going (both times they sent it) — only to receive no response, either time.
