"Practically a brand new hotel. If you're hesitant to visit Venice because you're worried about how you'll get to your hotel and having to drag your luggage around cobblestone alleyways and over bridges, this is the hotel to book. The Aliluguna Waterbus from the airport stops at the Tronchetto stop, which is literally across the street from this hotel. From that same stop, you can pick up the ACTV waterbus to navigate around the canals of Venice and get everywhere you want to be. The hotel itself was very comfortable, we booked a 2 bed twin room and it was comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and breakfast was included. Also, if you're getting on a cruise ship, the pick up spot for cruise line transfers is at the end of the street. Really, this was great."
"Air conditioning was working well the room was extremely small but had private bathroom that everything worked. Not the cleanest however room was extremely dusty and nail clippings were on the floor!"
"Loved having a kettle in room. Water was hot and bathtub long. Train into Venice was in backyard of hotel and only like $5 each way. We were able to borrow a correct adapter to charge our phones. Quite a nice selection at breakfast. Enjoyed taste of Italian pasta in the restaurant for dinner and reasonably priced - 2 dinners and a bottle of water for about $40 and a pretty large portion. Also liked having a free water bottle in room. Rooms were fairly large. Everything was so clean. Got in early and they even had a room ready for me."
"Right outside of the Rialto Bridge. Location was excellent.
Saw mouse droppings in an open suitcase when we returned to the room one night but overall the room was clean.
Staff was great. Breakfast was better than a lot of other places we had stayed.
Loved using an actual key instead of a keyboard.
Building was a little dated but wasnt an issue."
"The staff at Hotel Montecarlo was excellent! They helped us with tours and recommendations. The hotel is close by several excellent restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and kept clean/refreshed by the wonderful housekeeping staff. We enjoyed our stay there very much."
"We loved this hotel. The staff were wonderful and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was incredible! Would definitely stay here again!"
