Nous avons organisé notre lune de miel en Thaïlande et ce logement fut notre seule grande déception du séjour. Il y a plusieurs choses que les voyageurs doivent ABSOLUMENT savoir en amont : - La mentalité des hôtes est clairement décevante et inflexible. Ce logement n'a été crée que pour faire du business et non pas pour l'amour du partage et de l'accueil de voyageurs. En voici quelques exemples: *Le diner est servi entre 18h et 19h30 ce qui est vraiment très tôt pour des Européens et sans AUCUNE flexibilité. Nous avons eu une crevaison sur la route ce qui nous faisait arriver entre 19h45 et 20h. Refus absolu de nous laisser le diner dans le frigidaire du logement. Nous respectons le fait que chaque logement ait sa politique mais des cas de force majeure surviennent et les propriétaires nous ont simplement dit d'aller diner en ville. Résultat, nous sommes arrivés à 22h au logement, de nuit, sous la pluie, sur une route dangereuse et pentue. Pareil, check-in limite à 22h : Attendez-vous à ce qu'ils vous refusent le check-in et que vous dormiez dans votre voiture si vous arrivez en retard. *De la même manière, pas de flexibilité sur le check-out au point de mettre un panneau dans la chambre avec pénalité si vous dépassez l’horaire.Je n'ai jamais vu cela depuis 15 ans sur Booking ! *Transfert depuis l'aéroport très cher pour la Thaïlande ! - Beaucoup d’insectes la nuit. Ma compagne a été piquée par une guêpe donc à eviter si allergie. Bref, très grosse déception

What an incredible place to stay! Fon & Wouter (the owners) were warm, friendly & welcoming which made it a lovely relaxing stay. The accommodation was clean & spacious with spectacular views, and the hot tub was a lovely touch. The hosts provided everything we needed for our stay and it felt so much like a home from home that we did not want to leave. All meals were yummy and were prepared by Fon’s Mom who is a fabulous cook. We got to try some traditional dishes which were delicious and the portions were also quite generous, so we never went hungry. I would highly recommend staying here if you are around the Chiang Rai area, you will not regret it!

From the moment we arrived we greeted by the owners as we drove through the gate which was a nice touch. The property is very secluded and higher up in the mountain and literally you are above the clouds on some occasions throughout the day. The views are spectacular from the location and the care and detail from the owners is 2nd to none. As we arrive just before 5 o’clock we agreed to Liv afternoon tea and later that evening or dinner was prepared for us. The owner‘s mum cooks superb food but it’s not offer me and you. It’s what she wants to cook on the day and we must say the food is excellent. We’ve booked our breakfast for the next morning and it arrived dead on time and honestly sitting out on the deck eating breakfast looking across the views is truly amazing. We tried to stay an extra night but unfortunately they were fully booked but we will definitely be returning for another stay with these 10 out of 10 hosts. Thank you for everything you did it was much appreciated and is well worth the drive up the mountain

This stay surpassed my expectations in many ways. Clean and upscale accommodations. Private, quiet and beyond beautiful. No picture or video truly captures the beauty of this location. The home cooked meals were delicious. The meal is not designated but what is provided offers something for every pallete. The owners are so nice, commicate very well and are very accommodating. They have laid out the guidelines, just be respectful and work within them. The location is remote, taxi or grab drivers likely will not take you here. The owners informed us of this and with advance notice we had no issues. This is a wonderful place to unwind, enjoy the surroundings, soak up some sun and read a book. Highly recommend!

This homestay was absolutely excellent. Perfect in every way, especially for a nice romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sitting on the back patio with your loved one(s) and watching a sunrise and the shadow of the mountains behind you during the sunset is absolutely incredible. At night time you can also see some fireflies come up onto the porch if you are patient. The hot tub is an INCREDIBLE spot to relax. I also highly recommend going into the village around the homestay. There are some incredible lunch and coffee spots on Doi Mae Mon that shouldn't be missed. There are also a couple convenience shops around if you need a few things you may have forgotten to bring with you. Not quite 7 eleven but more charming. I'll remember this stay for the rest of my life and if I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be back!

Traveling - it's about 1.5 hours from the Chiang Rai City and way up the hill. Not so hard to find the location but a good vehicle is suggested since the slope is quite high and have to cross the water at a point. Host - Very caring and attentive to details. Leave you with the place with privacy and also have good support all along. Of course good in English and no need to worry about the communications. Scenery - absolutely stunning! See clouds in the morning and beautiful Chiang Rai city night view at night. Of course not only having meals outside the room but also can stay in the jacuzzi for the joyful moment. Room and equipment - very large room and bathroom with necessities equipped. Can watch Netflix and YouTube which are great to kill time! Meals - the food is simple and rustic yet delicious. Can have a taste of courty Thai food at night which is quite impressive. If you are not able to have the tea set at the place, don't worry, will serve you in next day's morning. Others - the place is quite remote and there is only some small cafes opened at daytime. Don't suggest going out at night cause no light on the road out. Very good experience of nature and romantic moments. Highly recommended for those who long for a little getaway.

I was excited to have found this amazing local homestay, and the pictures and reviews I had seen did not do it justice. It was the first time I ever experienced being IN a cloud, much less above them most of the time, and the environment AND the hosts could not have made the experience any better. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with happy smiles, helping hands and warm accommodations for a very special weekend. From the rose decorated bed, to the hbday balloons welcoming us, the touch was beyond what was expected. The meals the cooked and served us was what a treat, as I found many of these dishes only to be local to the hill-tribe cuisine. I'm not much for coffee but my guest enjoyed their tastings throughout the day from their own plantation. The stories the hosts shared with us were an added bonus no one ever mentioned. Accomodations and view was like being immersed in something only you can experience in Thailand. I DO hope to return next time I'm in the Chiang Mai region (worth the 3 hour drive during the worst floods in history), and suggest you might too.

Heaven on earth!

The most beautiful place we've ever stayed! Breathtaking view! And the hosts have been SO helpful and service minded all the way through!!! The room, the jacuzzi, the food, even the driver who picked us up at the airport - EVERYTHING was nothing less than perfect!!! We would LOVE to come back again and will certainly do so when we save up money again. We can only highly recommend this for anyone!!!
