Staff was very good, caring, just like India hospitality. This is so close to western group of temples. Garden is well maintained, adding to positive ambience.

Very center of Khajuraho with amazing garden+food

Surya hotel is located few step away from the famous temples and walkable distance form other groups of temples that exist around. Location is really perfect - there are kiosks and restaurants all around, and, comparing to other big hotels, you do not need to hire driver to enjoy your evening in the central spot. Hotel is clean and neat. It is old school style, but very cute an cozy, with many figures, old paintings and books. For those who prefers the modern vibe this is not an option. But for those who enjoys Indian style, local crafts and designs this is the best. Hotel has a great inner garden, with beautiful flowers and breakfast served right there. Chefs are quite famous locally but prices for the food is super reasonable, cheaper than in fancy central cafes. Recommended! Rooms are clean, hot water, Internet and all other facilities re provided and functioning perfectly. And, most importantly, the team is very nice, kind and caring people. They know their business and help tourists with no lie or hidden schemes. This is nice.

Hotel was full due to weeding grup Staff was unable to provide us our reserved room Front desk person was told me to cancelled my room and take a refund or he will shift me to another hotel Which he did Traveler don't expect this kind of situation when he arrived late

Para alquilar una habitación en este hotel hay que tener en cuenta que se trata de un hotel económico y que no se puede esperar más de lo que brindan. Aunque podrían mejoras algunos detalles como contar con mozos que hablen inglés y que tengan una actitud más servicial, así como también,mejorar la calidad de toallas y limpieza de la heladera del dormitorio.

Best Value and Hotel in Kajuraho

Great location only 5 minute walk from the Western Temple Complex. The checkin process was easy and they let us check in at 7:30am without charging extra. Can't beat the location!!! Room is huge with private balconies. Garden was great! Food at the hotel was also great. Best place to stay by far in Kajuraho. Inexpensive and well worth the price!

Pelkkiä kehuja Surya-hotellille

Saavuimme varhain aamulla ja saimme heti tilapäishuoneen torkkuja varten ja aamupalan. Ensimmäistä varsinaista huonetta nurisimme pieneksi, sitten - bingo! - tarjolla oli 216, tilava, uusi AC, jk, amme, hyvä sänky, hiljainen - tosin vasta klo 22 jälkeen, kun vastapäisen huvipuiston pakoputkettomat !!! isot yksipyttyiset dieselputputtimet olivat vaienneet. Sitten täysin hiljaista. Kuumaa vettä on tarjolla 7-9 ja 19-21, mutta joskus sitä tuli vielä 22.30 - ja kylmä vesi on juuri hikisen kehon huuhteluun sopivan haaleaa. Ravintola on veg, joten aamupala mannermainen, ei edes munia. Hotellin edessä pääkadulla runsaasti halpoja ravintoloita. Meille erittäin hyvä hotelli, hyvin myöhäinen check-out järjestyi muutamalla eurolla. Vilpittömästi suosittelemme.

great hotel for the price. Remember to get a mosquito net with you to protect you at night. Good restaurant, kind people, warm water and very well situated.

Great location.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is just a short walk to the Western group of temples and to some good restaurants. The hotel is bit tired and needs some updating. Definitely pay for the AC room.

A well placed hotel, a slow brekfast service and very modest food, no heating in the room, a pleasant garden. A supplement to get heating and another supplement for internet!! So, clean, correct no more.

Nice garden and convenient location

Clean rooms and helpful staff. Good restaurants across the street. 5 minute walk from the Western group of fabulous temples. Best rooms are in the new addition surrounding the lovely garden.

Hotel fornito di camere di vario tipo disposte in diversi modi; la nostra deluxe dava direttamente su di un gradevole e silenziosissimo giardino interno. Personale della reception disponibile e competente, anche ad aiutarci a prenoatare i biglietti del treno. Vicinissimo ai templi e in pieno centro fra ristoranti e shopping.

This hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Western Gate to the Khajuarho Temples. Hot water is available from 7:00 - 8:30 each morning and evening. The rooms are large.
