"A wonderfully authentic Moroccan experience. The host family is kind, accommodating and attentive. Every room is a masterpiece of mosaics, including the bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. We paid extra for dinner as well, and had a fantastic home cooked meal. I am so glad we stayed here!"

"Absolutely wonderful, spectacularly restored and modernized traditional riad in the Medina. Omar is super nice and multilingual. The owner was very interesting to speak with and super nice, as well. We were just amazed by the detailed, beautiful restoration work (and original tiling) that was done in this riad. They are rightfully proud of it."

"Beautiful Riad. Courtyard was beautiful with the trees and architecture. Staff were super helpful. Very easy walk to Medina. Rooms were a bit dated. But everything else more than makes up for it. Breakfast was great on the rooftop each morning. Did the hammam and massage on the last night and it was very relaxing. Although a bit pricier than other options in town."

"I don't even know where to start. Karim the manager was an angel; so kind, accommodating, and also knowledgeable about Moroccan history. Soumaya was fantastic with our endless requests and questions. And then Adil, Ibrahim, and Ayoub were charming/funny, professional, and hard working. The venue was a dream, the beds comfy, and the food was wonderful. Out of my entire stay in several cities around Morocco, this was my favorite stay because of this outstanding team."

"I’m not sure how this property obtained a 4* rating, it’s a basic 3* with no amenities. I’m genuinely surprised by the excellent reviews it has received, maybe customers confused rustic with basic. There was no fridge, no tissues, no bin, no tv in the room. The sink tap would move if you turned it on. The shower area looked damp and the brickwork around it was rough. Il nous a appris grandement sur les traditions marocaines et la ville de Fès. L’endroit est magnifique et le déjeuner est typiquement marocain.
