Hotel Riu Palace Mauritius - All Inclusive - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"J’ai beaucoup aimé mon séjour à l’hôtel RiU
Le personnel est très accueillant,la nourriture très bonne et variée
L’aquagym ,les coachs parfait ,les activités ,les soirées animées ,magnifique 👌"
"Hygiene needs improvement, but the staff was responsive and sometimes very attentive. The facilities were good overall, except for the pools, where surface issues may have caused swimmer injuries. The activities and activity staff were excellent, and it’s a great destination for a family vacation."
"We were shown so much care, kindness and attention throughout our stay. Every team member: reception, admin, restaurant, kitchen, maintenance and cleaning were consistently friendly, helpful and professional. They worked hard and always had a smile on and enquired about our experience each time.
The location was perfect: just a five‑minute walk to a beautiful part of the Flic en Flac lagoon, ideal for early‑morning swims and snorkelling.
Breakfast was varied and generous, with cooked options, pastries, breads, cheeses and plenty of tropical fruits, plus extras like boiled eggs, pancakes and omelettes.
Dinner changed nightly with cultural themes; I especially enjoyed the vegetables, salads, calamari and desserts.
A few small improvements would help: boiling water at breakfast for tea, better coffee and water jugs at dinner.
Rooms were cleaned daily, towels and beach towels replaced and the shower had good water pressure. Tea‑making facilities and a small fridge in the room were very convenient.
The free carpark and on‑site gym were great bonuses. Good Wi‑Fi throughout and fun Sega dancing during the week added to the experience.
Quiet, peaceful and welcoming — we made real connections with the staff and will definitely return.
Thank you Aanari for taking great care of us.
Bonne continuation.

"Absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms are lovely, we stayed in a suite - room 747. And every few room sections there is a pool. The beach directly in front of our room was quiet and peaceful - in fact the whole resort felt very quiet even though it was Easter and it is a family resort, it’s so big that it felt relaxing.
There were a number of restaurants at the sister hotel - La Paradis which we often walked to (there is also a shuttle bus that takes you there running every 15 mins). The spa was lovely. There were tennis courts, a well kitted out gym (not that we used it)!
There were Beach bags in the rooms for us to keep (so don’t bother bringing one!), Bring sea shoes as the coral is sharp in places. Saw a turtle on our first day snorkelling. But it’s not an area for snorkelling I would say -
We were half board which was sufficient for us.
Things to improve:
Allow breakfast to run later than 10am

"Our 2nd visit to this hotel as we found it great value for a fun and also relaxing family holiday.
We loved the Beach location where you wander straight down from the hotel - and enjoy your all
Inclusive drink here too. Sit and relax with gorgeous view of the ocean or take a dip in the crystal clear Sea. Blue Bay is such a perfect spot for snorkelling , straight from the shore you can see the marine life . We loved spotting all the fish, my daughter favourite being the 'Minecraft fish' (box fish). Also make sure to take advantage of the complimentary glass bottom boat trip further out into the Bay.
The staff were fantastic, from check in to The Bar servers, waiting team in the restaurant and cleaning crew . Many of the servers recognised us from previous years and were once again friendly and helpful. They particularly took time with the Kids to ensure they were happy! The Hotel manager also took time to sit with us and talk about how we were enjoying the holiday.
Mostly I have to mention the Club Coralia entertainment team, Yoan & Emmanuelle who absolutely made the holiday! Their efforts and enthusiasm which is recognised a genuine passion for what they do gave the kids the most wonderful experiences and memories they will cherish forever. Nothing was too much for them and they constantly went out their way to ensure the kids (and grown ups) were having a good time- even happily being chased and pushed fully clothed into the pool! Their kindness and warm smiles.

"Loved my stay here. It was only for 2 nights, but it was pleasant. The dinner and breakfast buffet were great, had everything I wanted. I loved spending time in the recreational space, playing table tennis and reading up on Sega culture in Mauritius. Room was great, a little on the small side, but the balcony made up for it. Staff were helpful in bringing bags up to the room and arranging transportation to a tour the day of our flight. Would gladly stay here again."
"La Pirogue is one of the loveliest hotels in the world! A well-balanced mix of laid-back island charm, with professionalism, friendliness, fun activities and the best hotel food you will find anywhere (mix of authentic local and themed international, always something for everyone and a classy pastry section straight out of Paris!). The grounds are picturesque and immaculate, whilst the staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. Cannot recommend La Pirogue highly enough! "
