"I booked this cottage at fairly short notice We were attending an event nearby and so booked only one night but it is beautifully situated and the cottage was very nice, so I would happily have stayed longer. Communication easy and very prompt via Hotels.com app and once we arrived, the mobile number was available. Self check in was easy, key safe code provided in advance. "Charming pub with spacious accommodation ideal for Penine Way walkers. This traditional hostelry, popular with both locals and visitors, has a great range of well kept ales and hearty meals. Also dog friendly : )

"Good points
Shower , toilet , barbeque all very good , Hot tub BRILLIANT when in it .
Tent ample room to move around and side windows let in enough light during daytime .
Cooler box was very good kept the ice frozen all the time we were there and not electric (Yeti) thats the make of it .
Amazing views from the site and peaceful .
Bad points
Steps for the hot tub not stable need attatching to the side .
No direction signs to the place and no phone or internet signal so no sat nav and not...
