"Charming old hotel. Main staircase is a little wobbly and hallways needs updating. There was a sign commenting on updating in process. Staff were excellent. Only challenge with facilities was the super hot air temperatures 95F and no AC. Rooms were hot and staff did try to accommodate by bringing in a fan."

"The room was clean, staff was polite. Does have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work very well. No hair dryer in the bathroom. Breakfast was not very impressive."

"Auberge de la Baie is the closest hotel on the mainland to Mont Saint Michel. It was easy to walk to the bus lot from the hotel. The hotel had a nice breakfast and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful. When we realized that there were not restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, the staff helped us order a delivery from a restaurant. Added bonus, there is a sheep farm nearby with some very cute lambs."

"The family were so lovely and welcoming. We got to meet the father who was so very interesting and shared many memories and stories of the Chateau and his family. Would recommend staying to all for a unique French Chateau experience. Also loved the five-course evening meal by the chef, truly unique."

"Family of 4 visiting got the family room with the lift. It was nice to have us all iin One room. The steps up are steep if that concerns anyone There is not air conditioning. Would have been nice if staff opened windows prior to arrival as it was cool outside amd boiling inside. They provided one fan for the loft. 1 would have been nice. The locationwas perfect! Easy walk to the island or quick walk to a shuttle. I walked and it took about 25min, but it was beautiful."
