"On my way to Spain, I made my stop for the night at this maison. The house is in an extremely quiet area and feels very relaxing. The house itself shows its age, and the surroundings around it is farmers land I assume. I had a room overlooking the pool, and the room was fine. Everything worked and was well maintained. The TV only had french stations so not worth watching. I couldn't get the wifi to set up (due to my clumsiness?) so I used my own. So please ask about it if you decide to stay...

"Cour intérieure pour stationner son véhicule puis belle arrivée sur une montée d'escaliers très bien mise en valeur. La chambre est assez grande, la literie confortable, chauffage efficace. Calme à souhait. Salle d'eau fonctionnelle. L'accueil est parfait. L'hôtel est à quelques mètres de la mairie, en plein village. "

Fransico was also pleasant, went around his duties quietly but always with a smile. This couple has created an oasis out of a horse ranch. Some rooms, the pony stalls, therefore are small. Hatte nur eine Badewanne, in der man sich ducken musste, weil die Dachschräge tief war. Die Lüftung stellte nie ab. Das Wc war separat ein kleiner Raum. Da wir nur zu dritt waren, konnten wir ein Bett als Ablage brauchen. Sonst wäre es viel zu klein gewesen. Die Klima funktionierte. Das Frühstück war sehr klein, aber für uns ganz ok. "Stayed here several years ago and loved it. But this time was put in room 20. No door on the bathroom.....AWKWARD!!! No windows that opened and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. The breakfast buffet was as good as remembered and on site parking is great. But the place needs some TLC."

"The Cacharel is like going back in time to a French ranch house. Staff is incredible- food is amazing. Gorgeous large pool (eat there!) rooms all have AC and are comfortable. Incredible location right by marshes with hundreds of flamingos and ample places to ride the iconic white horses. We had no idea how amazing this part of the world is. Would absolutely recommend if you want a wonderful once in a lifetime family adventure! We loved our stay (and added a night!) "
