The first room we checked in was smelly. The bathroom had a strange stench. The 2nd room was ok but we had problems with the TV. The hotel bathrooms are dated. Need a makeover. Breakfast is good and adequate.

Fantastic place for a quick road trip stop. The rooms were surprisingly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Great value for the price—I'd definitely stay here again!"

The hotel as a whole is rather dirty. The room was not cleaned well. Staff was great but housekeeping needs some work.

was a first floor room. was able to park pretty close. the area felt a little sketchy but was well lit and quiet. the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfy. we slept very well :) thanks for a great stay!

Holiday Inn Express Charleston-Kanawha City by IHG
Everything was good with this hotel except the noise from the highway. Our room was in the back of the hotel and within 50 feet of the interstate and trucks made so much noise braking to go around the curve. Difficult to sleep.
