Top Charleroi Hotel Reviews

Van der Valk Hotel Nivelles - Sud
8/10 Good
"While the hotel was modern, clean and the staff lovely, the layout of the room was poorly thought out. Literally no where to hang towels or toiletries in the bathroom, however the provision of quality shampoo and shower gel was a nice touch. It was a busy hotel and conference centre but staff were very attentive. We booked for B&B and didn't want to eat in the formal restaurant in the hotel, but it proved a challenging to cross over the bypass to find somewhere else to eat. We did brave it and went to Huggies and had a cracking burger (plus veggie burger) and a few Weisbeers were was top notch. We used the indoor and outdoor pools which were really lovely too."

B&B HOTEL Namur
10/10 Excellent
"A good find for staying in Belgium. Much cheaper than Dinant. I was messaged in advance by the hotel to ask if I needed to reserve car parking, which was required. Cost of parking was the standard 20 EUR for the night. The staff were friendly and welcomed me on arrival. Room was satisfactory in size plus clean and practical. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of food. A great location in central Namur, right by the train station. Overall a good stay. I will be staying here again if I travel through Europe."

Ibis Styles Namur
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly and welcoming staff, easy check-in and fantastic breakfast. I am sorry to say that the corridor on 3rd floor could do with some airing. Nevertheless, I can recommend this place."

Auberge Jeunesse Charleroi Youth Hostel

Utopia Hotel
8/10 Good
"Arrived late evening after a long drive from the UK during the heatwave of 30+. We had booked one of their many treehouses which when we arrived was not available as the A/C was faulty, they kindly upgraded us to the twin box treehouse with working A/C which was a god send in the heat. Very quirky design, had everything you’d need. If you have a fear of insects however, be prepared to evict an abundance of spiders, moths, ants and beetles from the treehouse if you don’t like sharing! The only negative for us was the actual structure moves when you walk around so you feel a but like your on a boat. It’s perfectly safe but the design causes this, i guess it adds to the charm? Head space is limited in places also. Lastly it seems hot water is on a timer so bare this in mind if your planning on a mid day or late night shower. - Parking was fine, plenty of available space with additional parking on the main road opposite the hotel if needed, it’s also easy to find. Staff are very friendly and efficient at both check in and check out. We didn't use any of the amenities although they seemed fine and again, same with the restaurant, we didn’t eat there but the food looked and smelt amazing!"

Martin’s Dream Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The style of the hotel and general ambiance is more of an Arc Deco style from the theme, all in all fairly well presented. The staff was excellent and super helpful, the daily breakfast buffet was a nice assortment of eggs, potatoes, bacon, assorted cheeses, ham, and if you wanted to get cereal it was available. You could also buy from assorted drinks from the bar for some local brews if that's your flavor. Overall an excellent stay, and easy walking distance to the town square in Mons where a lot of local restaurants are available to eat at. Overall I was pleased with my stay and the price I paid."
