"We checked in at approximately 4 PM. We were assigned a room on the first floor. They don't have screens in their windows so there were flying insects in the room(the area has a bug called a Midge). There were a handful of them smashed on the counter of the bathroom and on the walls as the window was left open before we arrived. Also, the TV did not work at all except for the guide, but you could not change channels or adjust the volume. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. I do believe they had been washed, but they were stained. I don't believe the floor/carpet had been vacuumed in quite some time. The sink water pressure was horrible. Did not even try the shower so we went back to the front desk and they switched us to a room on the fifth floor. The gentleman said the rooms are much better on the fifth floor, but they cost more. I believe he said $9 more. He did not charge us the $9. We only stayed one night as we originally had scheduled for four because that room that we were switched to still had issues. the television, we never could watch anything. The AC was not very strong and when we woke up, we were congested because of the air(old). the sheets & pillow cases were also stained. BTW, the elevator to get up to the fifth floor very disgusting. The front desk employees were very nice and did give us a refund for the three days that we did not stay there. It wasn't inexpensive for a hotel, but still could not justify staying."
