"For the EV chargers, many of them are not working. For the ones that are working, non EV cars parked in the designated spots blocking access for ev cars to charge. The room cleanliness was sub par, with curtains and lampshade tattered. The buffet was overpriced and terrible. There was NO turn down service offered AT ALL for the entire duration of the stay (3 nights), hence no fresh towels, no need making, no coffee replenished. The shower doesn't have a door and as a result, the water sprayed all over the bathroom floor causing fall hazard. "
"Stovepipe Wells is a clean, well-appointed motel in convenient park location near the Mesquite Sand Dunes. We were happy with our stay, The only odd thing is the free coffee service is 9pm-7am, and for the money spent, it would be great if breakfast and coffee were included. "
"Iconic national park hotel in a stunning setting. It's very beautiful and well maintained. Expect smaller rooms, given the age of the hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The mattress and towels could be better (compared to a similar hotel like the Mission Inn.) Light sleepers might not like the loud air conditioning, which really can't be controlled in-room.
Great pool area, pretty but so-so fitness room. Pro tip on the nice sauna: start the timer before your work-out so it will be somewhat hot by the time you're ready.
Nice bar and restaurant area adjacent to the lobby/lounge areas. Pretty good food and drinks, not outrageously priced considering location.
Great service from all the staff. Worth the money to stay here."
Panoramic and solitary views of the Badwater Basin and Panamint Valley, especially stunning at sunset, offer rewards at the end of a washboard-like drive.
