The hotel is in the middle of Agia Marina, so any side you walk there are restaurants, supermarkets and other things. The hotel has very clean pool and is on beach front.

Underrated hotel due to ‘tiredness’ of rooms. Great flowers in the property. Well maintained. Literally right on the beach. Great pool and pool bar with food. Supermarket over the road and plenty of great tavernas at a short walk. Breakfast good but could do with some variation some days.

This isnt 5 star so if thats what you want dont go here. We were looking for a base to sleep and explore crete and this was perfect. Nice pool, beach and sea within metres of our room and A/C in rooms. The rooms themselves could do with updating regards to furniture etc but again the hotel was perfect for what we needed.

Bien dans l'ensemble

La personne de l'accueil nous a tres bien accueilli, elle nous a montré notre logement et nous a recommandé des endroits à visiter. L'hôtel est tres jolie avec les façades colorées ainsi que les fleurs, cactus.. La piscine est très sympa, avec un côté, une profondeur de + de 2m et vue sur la mer. Un snack est egalement présent, ce qui est pratique. La chambre quant à elle, aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Le frigo n'est pas de toute jeunesse mais permet de mettre au moins quelques bouteilles d'eau. La vue sur mer est top ! Le petit dejeuner est correct mais assez limité en terme de choix, notamment sur le salé.

Localização excelente. Mas no quesito limpeza deixou a desejar e muito, a housekeeping apenas esticava a cama e trocava as toalhas. Ela nao lavava o banheiro, não trocava os lençóis. A pia sempre estava com marcas de quem nao limpou nada. Cafe da manha bem fraco, bem básico (2 tipos de paes, bolinho, cafe q por sinal aguado de maquina). A estrutura na parte da piscina muito boa, e o bar tbm. So achei um absurdo pagar para usar as cadeiras de praia do próprio hotel 😰

Das Hotel ist sehr schön im griechischen Stil angelegt. Die Pflanzen in der gesamten Anlage sind herrlich und eine Freude immer wieder anzusehen. Super Lage direkt am Strand. Bin seit über 30 Jahren immer wieder gerne Gast dieses Hotels. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist Ok, aber ein wenig veraltet.

Marina Sands 27/8 - 9/9

För pengarna vi betalt för detta rum så hade vi väntat oss lite bättre standard. Sängarna var tyvärr under all kritik, ingenstans att hänga upp strandhanddukar och inte ens ett glas att använda till medhavd dryck. Jo vi använde tandborstmuggarna. Personalen var annars väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma.

Bene, si può migliorare

La prima impressione al momento dell’arrivo è stata piuttosto negativa a causa della scarsa accoglienza riservataci alla reception (dove per altro la Signora ci ha fatto attendere 30 minuti senza nemmeno scusarsi). Detto ciò, in seguito ci siamo ricreduti grazie alla gentilezza degli altri membri dello staff. Abbiamo trovato un buon livello di pulizia, camera discreta, la vista mare era solo parziale. La colazione non ci ha entusiasmato, ma comunque una discreta scelta. Posizione ottima!

Prima accommodatie

Marina sands ligt heerlijk. Je staat gelijk op het strand. En vlakbij de restaurants en winkeltjes. Chania 15 min met bus. Airport 30 min. Onze kamer had een terras met twee stoelen en tafel. De kamer heeft een airco. De buitenunit hangt aan het terras gedeelte wat erg veel lawaai oplevert. De kamer is eenvoudig, maar fijn. De badkamer heeft de douche in bad. Die bad zag er smoelzelig uit. Bed is hard waar je de vering doorheen voelt. Als je daar last van hebt mag je om een topper vragen bij receptie. Dat was fijn. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. We wisten dat het een simpel accommodatie was daarom hadden we geen hoge eisen. De poolbar is ook ok. Met iedere dag een ander specialiteit. Was erg lekker. Nog wel een verbeterpunt is. Het tekort aan parasols bij zwembad. Het waren er maar stuk of 3. Nu ben je verplicht om bedjes met parasols te huren op het strand. En de handdoekleggers dat is natuurlijk bijna overal een irritatie puntje. Zodoende hebben wij nooit bij het zwembad kunnen liggen. Wat erg jammer was. En het ook duurder maakte doordat we de bedjes iedere dag moesten huren. Zou ik er nog keer naartoe gaan? Jazeker.
