"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing, we wanted to stay longer! The food is delicious (some of our best meals were at hotel), service is excellent, beach is wonderful. They are beyond accommodating regarding food restrictions and allergies and make modifications AND remember your restrictions. Staff will serve food and drinks at beach. We had a delicious welcome cake at arrival. The ONLY thing was the plunge pool the room has is not heated. I hope to come back!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Old Town, 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Had a very good superior room, with balcony, on the top floor (4th) facing the old town with the sea in the distance. The room was fairly basic, but clean, with a good bed and bathroom. The swimming pool area was better than in the photos , and pleasant enough to spend time lounging around. The inclusive breakfast was very good, with a wide range of hot and cold options to choose from. The bus station is 20 minutes away, and offers good routes to other towns and beaches. I would definitely stay again."

"We had an excellent, if short, stay. The hotel should really be 4 stars, hands down. Room (suite) was impecable, great furnishings and bedding, staff accommodating and free parking very convenient. The location is as best it can be, right in the harbor, with magnificent views. The only place we will consider if we return to Chania."

"An Absolutely Wonderful 5-Star Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Samaria Hotel in Chania! The location is excellent, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with a great selection to start the day, and everyone we met was genuinely lovely and friendly. The warm hospitality really made our stay extra special. Everything was wonderful, from the location to the service and the overall atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for more! Definitely a 5-star experience — highly recommended! We would happily stay here again. 🌟"
