L’accueil de Christelle et Jean François a été excellent et notre séjour a été une vraie réussite même si ce n’était qu’une nuit. Nous sommes ravis d’avoir trouvé ce superbe lieu pour notre halte à Laval.

C’est tres beau, riche en histoire et l’accueil chaleureux par Jean- François était très agréable. En plus Il s’est occupé de nous réserver le restaurant; c’était appréciable. Je recommande ce manoir.

Déçue

Studio dans bâtiments séparé. Points positifs: la vie, le calme, le petit déjeuner et l'accueil des hôtes. Points négatifs : des cheveux sur le sol dans la salle de bain et salon. Les draps en synthétique, froissés probablement dû au séchage en sèche linge mais qui donnent un aspect sales, non changés. La décoration qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la bâtisse magnifique. Les verres avec des traces de doigts dans le placard.

Manoir dans la jolie campagne mayennaise, grand calme, superbe vue depuis la chambre au 2e étage (mais escalier raide).

Excellent séjour dans cette magnifique demeure à la vue imprenable. Accueil chaleureux et chambre très spacieuse et confortable. Seul le lit est un poil juste en taille pour les grands gabarits. Mais je reviendrais avec plaisir à l occasion

Amoureux des vielles pierres, j ai vu dans cette belle restauration, l alliance du charme d antan au confort moderne. Une oasis de calme ,perchee au dessus du reste des mortels,on s y regenere L accueil est soigne et chaleureux.

Lovely location if you like tranquility. The room was lovely and so quiet! The property is really quite beautiful and it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to a restaurant which was of good quality.

Great find. 10 out of 10

A great find. Stopped over en route from Roscoff ferry (3hrs away) to S France. It's only a few mins from A81 leaving at junc4 & easy to rejoin at junc3. Chance is a pretty village with a beautiful park next to the river Pritz which the Manoir overlooks from a great height. The Manoir its self is beautifully restored 13 Century building, we had the room on the first floor and could not find fault. The hosts were friendly and informative and nothing was too much trouble. They put our cool blocks in their freezer overnight.We were made to feel at home and encouraged to walk around their garden and make use of the many seating areas, many in secluded places but as we arrived quite late we chose to walk into the town through the park to stretch our legs. Breakfast was offered for €5 each and I highly recommend it, masses of tea and coffee, home made yoghurt and compote, pancakes, choc au pain, bread and jams. We will certainly return on our next return from the UK and may even stay longer next time. Great place and great value 10 out of 10. Our sat nav had a little difficulty finding it but once found it was simple, as you leave Chance there is a parking bay opposite the park, next to this is a green checkered area, this is the entrance. It is locked by a code which means secure parking.
